A medium-bodied blend of Latin American and Indonesian coffees, with 20 percent Italian Roast for added depth and sweetness.
Both the acidity of Latin American coffees and the rich earthy flavor of the Indonesian coffees are detectable. The Italian Roast contributes a pleasant and almost cleansing sweetness. Origin, roast, and blend are all on display in Caff? Verona.
This blend has stood the test of time. It was originally blended for a Seattle restaurant as the perfect after-dinner coffee. Because of its popularity, it was added to the Starbucks store lineup and was originally called ?80/20 Blend.?
Taste Caff? Verona with dark chocolate. The sturdy character of the blend stands up to the intensity of the chocolate. Together they balance perfectly.
It is excellent brewed as a shot of espresso.

Overpriced,
While I like Starbucks coffee, it is overpriced for what it is. San Francisco Bay decaf French roast is just as good (albeit different) but considerably less expensive.

Delicious, dark roast that’s not bitter,
Starbucks Caffe Verona is a favorite of my in-laws’, and I really enjoy it, too. This coffee has a rich, chocolatey taste, and it’s not bitter (as is much of the coffee from Starbucks). I haven’t been able to find the decaf whole beans in a store for quite a while, so I was happy to find it online, even at a premium price, so that I could gift it to my husband’s parents.

Starbucks Whole Bean Coffee, Decaffeinated Caffe Verona, 16-Ounce Bags,
I love the taste, but it ends up costing too much per pound for the amount of coffee I drink. I finally switched to Coffee Bean Direct CO2 Espresso Roast.
